Here is the information and review from our 5th and 6th meetings.
During the Pandemic, over 100 therapeutic practitioners came together to create a beautiful set of music to bring to Senior Homes, Schools, Memorial Funeral Homes, Support Groups, and simply to enjoy songs for calming, going deep into the human soul and for lifting up and even setting the foot to tapping.
Our format is based on the 3 Ancient strains of playing the harp in Ireland – that of Suantraighe (calming), Goltraighe (into the soul), and Geantraigh (lighten it up!)
We are excited now with the kindness and generosity of our donors to bring the first round of the music to these facilities. The format was the part where we didn’t want to just send a USB of this beautiful work and have the little devices get lost in the shuffle. But what we are in the process of doing is to put all the segments onto pens. Yes! Pens! Pens that have the USB as part of the upper pen. This we think will remind the Activity Directors as they are busy with their paperwork, to detach the usb and slip it into the TV, while people are waiting to go to lunch, for instance.

We also explored the topic of a logo that was small enough yet represented HarpSoulRising to be put on a USB stick. Discussion of creating a smailer with a pocket that can house 2 USB sticks so that the USB programs can be set in a secure and visually inviting way was also discussed.

We are open to receiving any donations to our Non-Profit Angel Harps 501-c3 which is tax deductible. This will help us in the project that we feel will bring great awareness to therapeutic harp and open the doors for many of our Practitioners to have new places of work.
We have accrued enough finances to send out the pens to about 200 facilities. Our non-profit 501-C 3 Program is recognized by the title “Angel Harps”. We hope and plan to send to many homes that can benefit from the beautiful scenery and song.
If you would like to help out, even if it is $20 – and up, we will be able to reach out to a room full of people in the homes and nursing facilities. A nice way vs. the news on the TVs these days!

Eventually, we hope to be able to send HarpSoulRising pens to Doctors Without Borders, so that they can attach toem to iphones when needing music and visuals to help with their procedures. It has been shown in the International Harp Therapy that when harp music is played (in person or recorded) in the operating rooms that patients need far less anesthesia (and in some cases, none). This is a beautiful way that you can help what we know after 30 years of working in hospitals and hospices. Thank you.
