Our Covid Pandemic Healing Harp Project
HarpSoulRising
During this past year, we became part of the Soundwork 21 initiative to reach out to our Culture as our Patient. With over 100 harp players, we are putting together 2 very useful collage programs to be used in various places: Support Groups, Funeral Homes, Senior Homes, Teen Centers, Children’s Hospitals, and other places where people have been in lock down or have experienced hardships.
We are in need of donations that will help us to bring these amazing songs and messages to those who have lost loved ones, jobs, or relationships. Any amount of donation will help bring us more more USB gift to facilities. You will receive the USB’s for donating that you can share with your local homes and groups. For more information and to view some of the beta videos that will be professionally mixed, please go to this LINK. Thank you in advance. Your donation is tax deductible through our Angel Harps 501c3.
And as we go forth with our project prior to the pandemic, we are happy to announce that we made harp donations to two Braille Schools due to your generosity! Thank you.
We are pleased to announce that we now are offering tax-deductible gifting of harps and facilitating to Children’s hospitals, special needs groups, senior communities, specialized camps for children with terminal illnesses, community groups, rehabilitation centers, school programs and after school programs. We invite you to look at the many ways that your financial gift can bring music to people in these settings and more by exploring this website.
Your gift may be ear-marked for a certain area provided we have a facilitator to introduce the program or you may designate it for the greatest need.
Your gifts
Our Platinum Level – a gift of $8,000 + will provide a facility such as rehabilitation hospitals, children’s hospitals, senior centers with the full program with multiple harps and a trained facilitator for an extended period of time OR multiple facilities with a couple of harps and a facilitator.
Our Gold Level – a gift of $4,000 + will enable us to launch our in house television program to hospitals, retirement homes and other facilities where children, adults and seniors can play along with a facility harp that has been donated. In order to continue the lessons, the in-house TV presentation will direct them to devices such as ipads, iphones or computers to access more lessons in the future that have been created already in the Rainbow of Sound™ program.
It is only a matter of getting these lessons and harps into facilities. This donation will serve the most people throughout time and it is the personal goal of Christina Tourin (founder of the program) to offer our trained facilitators to facilities to bring this creative endeavor and enjoyment to patients and residents. (Note: these harps can be disinfected without damaging the strings and finish).
Our Silver Level – a gift of $1,500 + will provide trained therapeutic music graduates to serve by the bedside in hospitals. We have many communities where there are trained graduates that are in need of funding. Some areas of the country are not privileged as in Texas, where the Baylor Hospital system ,received 1 million dollars just alone for therapeutic harp services or in Phoenix where they received a gift of $22,000. for services
Our Bronze Level – a gift of $500 + will purchase 1 harp and a facilitator for 6 months meeting with the people twice a month visits.
Your gift may be designated for one specific facility or for a traveling music-making opportunity for multiple facilities in a designated area where there is a trained facilitator. (Schools, hospitals, community groups, special needs).
ANY GIFTING AMOUNT can provide materials, harps and trained facilitators, and presentations how a facility can benefit from a partial program.
