Description
Composed by: Christina Tourin
We have a beautiful meadow here in Mount Laguna. Each Spring, the farmer brings up his cows for grazing. My father loved his cows and when I go and sit by the meadow and watch the cows, I feel his closeness. I took my harp down on May 15th, the day of my Dad’s birthday. The cows were very curious. They stopped their munching and all laid down to listen to the music. This little tune was what came through. Come to the Meadow. It is designed for beginning harp players (can be played on harp or piano) and on a small harp with no levers – in the key of C.
